Who are we?
Matt Grey, CEO, is a seasoned event industry leader with over 25 years of agency experience. In 2021, he launched event:decision to bring measurable, data-driven insights to responsible event planning. Under Matt’s leadership, the company has created impactful tools like Track and Impact, co-led the Most Sustainable Agencies campaign, and taken active roles in shaping industry standards. By early 2025, the organisation had grown its team to enhance communications, strategy, and value delivery. Matt also continues to share thought leadership through media and industry events, positioning event:decision as a trusted sustainability partner in the events space.
Emma Digby has been with event:decision for three years, bringing over two decades of experience across all facets of the events industry – from venue operations and luxury corporate events to agency-side management. Her deep industry knowledge, combined with a growing passion for sustainability sparked during the COVID-19 pandemic, makes her a key contributor to event:decision’s mission of driving more sustainable event practices.
